What the Buzz?

buzz So like many people, I logged into my gmail account and got this little modal window enticing me to try out this thing called Google Buzz. Now, this really came out of nowhere to me, I had no clue Google was working on such a thing. I thought all their emphasis was on making Google Wave the next big thing. However, with the integration of Buzz, Gmail acts like a mini-facebook/twitter/microblog now but in it’s own Gmailish way. First impression: I actually like it! Newest candidate for world’s most horrific website

This is so wrong on so many levels I found this site today and, I mean, what do you say to this? It looks like the internet just kind of barfed and the barf was kind of arranged to promote formal gowns. For more fun, look at the map, man that’s priceless. Good luck trying to find the button that shuts off the audio which seems to get louder and more annoying by the second. So anyway take a look around and if you are prone to seizures, then maybe find something else to do.

Crystal Cave in Mexico

This is one of the coolest things ever. It’s basically a giant geode they discovered in Mexico. Look how huge these crystals are! Massive beams of selenite dwarf human explorers in Mexico’s Cave of Crystals, deep below the Chihuahuan Desert. Formed over millennia, these crystals are among the largest yet discovered on Earth. This is usually what I think of when I imagine a geode:
