NPIConstruction.com goes live!

This is a redesign of an older version of the site that was built a while back, well, 2006. North Padre Island Construction is my father’s company down in Corpus Christi, Texas. I spent my childhood building decks with him back in the day. In fact, I helped build several of the projects in his gallery! The original site width was a lot thinner and it was all just straight html. The new site is built upon Wordpress, and takes advantage of several cool plugins and offers the all the advantages of having a CMS. The new site was meant to ... Full Post »

Josh Stevens Foundation website goes live

The Josh Stevens Foundation site is now live. It’s been a pretty fun project to work on, they’ve got some great ideas and they are just getting started! Wadsworth Leatherworks Logo

wadsworth-leatherworks Here’s a logo that I finished recently for Wadsworth Leatherworks. Austin Wadsworth is the owner of the company and you can see some of his work here. Overall I think the final result is pretty cool on that leather background. The base logo was created in Illustrator, and the paths were copied into Photoshop as smart objects. The effects were then applied there. These are the vector versions of the logo. The logo above is limited to the size it can be scaled up because it is a raster images that uses pixels. The images below are scaleable to any size.

The Adventures of Captain Can-it, Episode III finally released

MiguelsCan-itCave Well, it’s been a loooooooong time coming. I finished this cartoon ages ago and the Clark County Water District, here in Las Vegas, finally put it live. This is the second to the last cartoon in the series and features the villain “Grease” who is part of the evil F.O.G.G. organization who seeks to clog every drain for some unknown reason. I mean really, what’s the deal with these super-villains anyway? This is bar far the longest, most detailed and funnest cartoon in the series in my opinion. It features the revelation of two new characters on the Captain Can-it team: Miguel ... Full Post »
